Using Windy Radar Features - for Desktops

Changes to the default view are possible by clicking the upper right button, here preselected as "Radar, Lightning."

Click this location to open menu.

Selection of new view can be made from this menu. The view here has been changed to "Temperature." The menu is closed by clicking the "X." A seconday menu can be opened by clicking "More layers..." at the bottom of the menu.

The second level menu permits additional adjustments to the view.

Adding "wind" and other layers can help pinpoint tropical activity.

And single-clicking on the map shows a current displayed value. But clicking on the downward arrow opens an hourly forecast for the location as shown below.

Finally, the user can click the play button at the bottom of the window to put radar in motion and provide history of any storm movement.
